I established Pulse and Water Learning in September 2002 as an offsite inclusion project for disaffected young learners aged 14 to 16. Then called ‘Inclusive Creativity Learning’, later on ‘IC Learning’, Pulse and Water College currently operates under the auspices of Pulse and Water Learning.

My role includes providing the strategic direction for Pulse and Water overall leadership and management of staff; resources; liaison with organisations; finance; curriculum and learner welfare.

My vision is for an inclusive strategy operating on the belief that given favourable circumstances, all children all can learn and all have a desire to succeed educationally.

I joined Pulse and Water as a lead tutor in September 2016, having worked in a small independent school in Kent for the previous twelve years teaching ICT and latterly Child Development to students with a variety of special needs and challenges. I spent time on the School Leadership Team and had a variety of other responsibilities, including on-line safety, IT support and Exams Officer.

My extensive experience of teaching students with autism, anxiety and dyslexia has provided me with a solid foundation to embrace any and all challenges.

I obtained a degree in Child Development (specialising in children with special educational needs and disabilities) from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2019, and in my spare time enjoy spending time with my daughter, socialising with my friends and getting out and about with the dog.

I am enthusiastic about encouraging young people to be the best they can be, and inspiring them to pursure their dream careers with hard work and determination. I have worked in several Pupil Referral Unit establishments within the West Boroughs of London, supporting students with both educational and behavioural needs at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

I have written my first novel, and I will be starting my Psychology Degree in September 2019.

I am a graduate of the University of Manchester in Pharmacology and Physiology. I have a high enthusiasm for encouraging children to become interested in science and enjoy tutoring during the spring revision sessions.

I aim to encourage more students into the highly useful field of science so that they can be equipped to influence a positive change for our future.

In 2012 I obtained a Diploma in Physcial and Health Education, and I taught Health Education as part of my teaching practice in 2013 and 2014. I graduated in 2016 from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, with a B.Ed. in Physical and Health Education. Upon completing my university studies I was awarded a Certificate of Membership from the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

I joined Pulse and Water College in 2019 and currently work as a Tuition and Support Tutor, allowing me to practice my passion for teaching whilst helping young children achieve their academic potential. I believe every young person has the ability to achieve what they set their mind to, and I find the most rewarding experience to be helping them along the way.

I am an enthusiastic cricket player and have worked as a volunteer cricket coach to children, teens and adults, having trained some of those on the Nigerian National Cricket Team.

modern foreign languages and art

I have significant experience travelling, studying and residential experience across Europe, and I aim to help students learn and advance their own skills in writing and speaking foreign languages. I facilitate opportunities for the children to reach their fullest potential through encouraging creative expression during their learning of foreign languages.

TUtion seRvice

I have been working in Pulse and Water College since 2016 as a tutor for the college, teaching individual students on a mostly one-to-one basis both off-site in homes and on-site in the library. I predominantly teach in my specialist area of mathematics, but also teach in other subject areas as and when tutorship demands. Alongside this, I am currently studying for a diploma in Education and Training with Christ Church Canterbury University.

Education is my passion, and I believe that the imparting of knowledge through education is essential to the wellbeing and empowering of children; it gives me a great sense of purpose and achievement being able to contribute to this in my small part.

I work in information communication to ensure the smooth running of the school.
